Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
The book, a Directorate - Human Rights and Diversity (DHRD) product, also illuminates some of the hardships faced by Chinese and Japanese Canadians who were veterans or who tried to serve their country. Zennosuke Inouye was one such Canadian. Although Mr. Inouye was a First World War veteran, at the start of the Second World War his 32-acre farm was taken from him and sold without his consent. Mr. Inouye received no financial compensation.
